Antisucking plywood

347

Description

This "antisucking plywood" is a plywood that connects the structure of the walls with that of the roof at the same time in a single product. This plywood is composed of the same materials as a common plywood, the difference is in its molding because it is not flat but is adapted to the angles between the ceilings and walls. Usually plywood is used to stiffen light wood framing structures. And the stiffening structures of the walls and roof are cut by the same elements of wood and finished of joining them with metallic connectors. My idea arises from the need to place a plywood that structurally joins the walls with the roof. Strong winds and tornadoes produce suction on the structures of the roofs and walls and often the results are very damaging. So if we put together the resistance of this type of plywood and the metallic connectors we will have more resistance against strong and tornado winds. The antisucking plywood can be used to joint wall with wall in the corner. This can be used to paint wall with wall in the external corners, or external walls with internal walls. Therefore it will be necessary to manufacture plywoods folded in 90 degrees and with other grades for ceilings, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 45 degrees.

Ecological values

I think that because of the reason that this is a wood element, that is why it is an ecological product. It will be necessary to study its tensile strength to know whether to avoid the use of metal anchors. And if this were the case, therefore being avoiding metal anchors we are using less metal and this has ecological value.
