Multiple-glued beam

Description

Multiple-glued beams are made by gluing together sanded Kerto® LVL S-beams. They come to a question when longer spans, higher loads on main beams or e.g. a limited floor height require more capacity than standard Kerto® LVL S-beams can provide. Multiple-glued beams provide better torsional buckling properties due to the homogenous cross section compared to side by side installed separate Kerto® LVL S-beams. Also one of the advantages is that multiple-glued beams are not sensitive to cracking in dry conditions in visible applications.

Key benefit

Combination of lightweight, strength, straightness, long structural components
