300

Description

Urban development and population growth in a city will be a new challenge for human being in the future. Natural resources degradation, limited and exploited area push people to think not only how to live but also how to survive. VII House is a wooden concept to answer these challenges. With minimum 3 level structure and can be added to a bigger scale, it has 2 different type which are primary structure and additional structure. Primary structure, In the ground floor level, spaces are designed to be more open for socializing, entertainment, workshop and business purpose with toilet on it. Intermediate floor, spaces are designed to be semi-private where occupant have their living room, bed room and private balcony. Other people could also access to 3nd floor through 2nd floor where inner agricultural space built for. In 3rd floor, occupant and neighbour could plant their own food, rain water collection as well as for the view. Additional structure has mostly the same features with primary structure does with a kitchen in intermediate floor and wider spaces on the ground floor. When primary and additional structure combined, there will be a triangular platform provided in the 2nd floor to connect two buildings. So that, it is accessible and enhancing efficiency by reducing construction cost. Team Member : Ilmian Sujatmiko & Reza Hafizh

  • Triangle shape will have an effect on material handling as more coordination than usual will be needed. It will fit to areas where rectangle building wont.
